โ“ Help โ€“ Getting started with Liora

1. Invite Liora

Log in, open Servers and click Invite Liora on the server you want. You need Administrator or Manage Server there. You can also use the general invite link.

Liora asks for: View Channels, Send Messages, Manage Channels, Manage Roles, Manage Messages, Embed Links, Attach Files, Read Message History, Use External Emojis, Add Reactions and Change Nickname.

2. Custom commands

Go to Custom commands in the server sidebar. Each command has a name and a trigger type:

  • Command โ€“ runs on !name (primary) or /c name (slash, with autocomplete).
  • Message equals exactly โ€“ replies when a message is exactly the name.
  • Message contains โ€“ replies when a message contains the name.

The response can be plain text or an embed. Variables you can use:

VariableBecomes
{user}Mention of the user (@name)
{username}The user's display name
{server}The server name
{membercount}Number of members

Changes apply instantly โ€“ no restart needed. Commands can be switched on/off with the status pill.

3. Tickets

  1. Open Tickets, choose a category for ticket channels, a staff role and optionally a log channel (with transcript).
  2. Pick a panel channel, set title, description, color and button label, then click Save & send panel.
  3. Members click the button โ†’ Liora creates a private channel ticket-0001 visible only to them, the staff role and Liora.
  4. Close with the ๐Ÿ”’ Close ticket button or /ticket-lukk. The channel is deleted after 5 seconds and a .txt transcript is posted to the log channel if enabled.

Each user can have one open ticket at a time. Sending the panel again updates the existing panel message.

4. Embed Builder

Build an embed with author, title, link, color, description, fields, image, thumbnail, footer and timestamp โ€“ with a live preview. Save it, Send new message to a channel, or Update sent message to edit the last one. URLs without https:// are fixed automatically; invalid URLs are removed with a warning.

5. Customize Bot

  • Server nickname, and a server-only avatar, banner and bio โ€“ per server.
  • Global avatar, banner, username, online status and activity โ€“ bot owner and global admins only.
  • โœจ Reset to Liora default restores the official Liora avatar and banner.

6. Welcome & Goodbye

Open Welcome, pick a channel and write a message (same variables as above). Liora can attach a welcome card โ€“ the member's avatar in a ring, a title, their name and "Member #N" โ€“ on the Liora banner or your own uploaded background (1100ร—440 recommended). Adjust overlay darkness, text colour, ring colour, title and subtitle with a live preview. Choose one message style โ€“ Text, Text + Card (default) or Embed (optionally with the card) โ€“ Liora always sends exactly one message per join. Use ๐Ÿงช Send test welcome to try it. Optionally DM the new member, and post a goodbye message when someone leaves.

7. Auto roles

Pick roles that new members (and separately, new bots) get automatically, with an optional delay. Roles marked โš ๏ธ are above Liora's highest role โ€“ move Liora's role higher in Server Settings โ†’ Roles first.

8. Reaction roles

Create a panel (embed) with buttons, a select menu or emoji reactions. Each option maps to a role with an emoji, label and description. Modes: Normal (toggle on/off), Unique (only one role from the panel), Verify (add only). Panels keep working after restarts; editing a panel updates its message, deleting it removes the message.

Slash commands

/pingCheck that Liora is awake (shows latency).
/c nameRun a custom command.
/ticket-lukkClose the ticket in the current channel.
